Wonderfully researched and extremely well written, this guide absolutely cannot be beaten. For anyone who fishes these waters or is considering doing so it will be indispensable.
I have 3 or 4 of the Fly Fisher's Guide books now, and they are all of the same high quality. The maps are extremely useful and consistent, including access points and GPS coordinates. These really help me plan my fly fishing trips. For example, the Cherokee streams (Oconoluftee, Raven Fork, etc.) are unique in how they are licensed/permitted, and this book helps clarify the various sections. Recommended.
Like many of the regional series, this is a good source for a visitor or newly arrived local. Used it on a trip in spring 2017and it worked out well. Recommend.
