I got the Kindle copy of this book thinking this was going to be a quick self help read. This turned out to be a more than just a guide. It is manual, with practical applications of the concepts of the Christian Woman who is preparing to take arms and fight the good fight to regain the grounds of Faith. At the end of Each chapter there are questions to help the reader reflect on the topics discussed. Many times I saw myself fighting sleep because I could not put the book down. The good part is that you don’t have to be a Bible scholar to read a study with this book. The scripture is given and each section is well explained.The only con I found was that The section of the introduction and my journey were overly long. I am buying the printed copy and doing this as a study with my sisters and my nieces. God Bless You.
I am giving this book 5-stars because of the courage of the author. It takes courage to share your life experiences. And, what's more, to write a book for the main purpose of helping others overcome their challenges is exemplary! I enjoyed the opportunities in the book to reflect; using the "Battle Zones" at the end of each chapter. This is a great book for women who want to start analyzing their thought-life and overall mindset. The author discusses many of the strongholds that imprison women and keep them from their divine inheritance. And because the enemy is so crafty, as women fight to heal from the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual pains an abortion can cause, he has the world willingly accepting immunizations that contain the very aborted babies that were discarded. That is one reason why the section of this book that discusses abortions is so significant. I would, however, have liked the author to speak more on the biblical principle of faith being something you have as opposed to something you don't have. But, overall, this book is a GREAT way to encourage open dialogue about faith, family, and the future. And the openness of the author to reveal her humanity by sharing the struggles she continues to face, makes this book a testament to the Warrior Woman that she is. I pray for the continued blessing upon the author's life and may this book be used to bring women to the knowledge of their true selves as Warrior Women!!!
The book was very honest and eye-opening. I recognized my insecurities, behavior, and actions that have been triggered by many events in my life. Each chapter does guide you to a better understanding of yourself and God. You must take your time and not rush the book. I had to go back to chapters as thoughts started bubbling. You are here for a purpose, as a woman, you are God's Gift to the world. Reclaiming your strength and courage through understanding.Share with all your female friends; no matter how together you think they are.
I met Lisa a few years ago and knew immediately she was a victorious woman with a great testimony. Lisa allowed God to use her to serve as a vessel for deliverance, healing and growth for women. Her transparency is courageous and encouraging. The above image is what my book looked like at the end of my first reading. The pages are marked and highlighted. I look forward to using it often in the weeks and months ahead.
I just received and started reading this ebook and I have to say great job Lisa! Her testimony is absolutely amazing. Clearly God is at work and using her in a mighty way to encourage and transform women. The ebook is still free today so jump on it. I am so excited to get in a group with other women who are studying this material.
